Tell me what book to read next. I just finished The Fault in Our Stars, so let me know. I’m in the mood to read.
Im reading The Fault in Our Stars, and I started reading this book months ago, but I had to stop because I knew that it would put me through a state of depression if I finished it at the time. So tonight I picked it up and I know I have to finish this book, it only makes sense to. I’m on chapter nineteen wanting to close the book for another few months but I can’t. I’m just so in love with the characters, I can’t just not finish it by tonight or tomorrow.
John Green is making me really consider writing because of this book. And I’m hoping that if I do start writing something more than just the assignments for my creative writing class that they will too be as good as something like this.
Whenever I see news stories about children who were killed by their parents, I think: But how could that be? They cared enough to give this kid a name, they had a moment — at least one moment — when they sifted through all the possibilities and picked one specific name for their child, decided what they would call their baby. How could you kill something you cared enough to name?
Still reading The Help. Took a break from holiday shopping to go to Barnes and Noble and read.
Took a break from studying for finals and reading The Help, to read Life’s: The Day Kennedy Died. Really interested in history, so this is really good so far to read about where some people were when they heard the big news.
I really want to major in history, but I don’t want to be a history teacher. I do like writing too. Ugh. Are you majoring I. History? Tell me what you plan on doing.
First book of the blog, The Help. I just started, and I can tell you, I love it. I’ve seen the movie, which I love so I’m hoping the book is as good or better than the movie. Anyone read this book? How did you feel about it?
I’ve decided to make a tumblr to tell you in pictures and in words about the books I read, and the magical, sad, and happy journey I’m going to be taking with my books.
Follow me and take the journey with me, by reading my blog, or reading the books I read with me.
